Consultant pharmacist.
A licensed pharmacist with Ontario College of
Pharmacists. Working in partnership with medical, nursing and
administrative staff of senior home and Long Term Care facilities. The consultant pharmacist's role is to help resolve complex medication problems
for residents. The consultant Pharmacist provides medication review,
in-service education, quality assurance audit, care conference. Other
duties involve setting up new home openings and ensuring facilities comply
to the Ministry of Health's standard. Staff
pharmacist.
A Licensed pharmacist with the Ontario College of
Pharmacists. Primary focus is to ensure standards are practiced within
the pharmacy. Pharmacy
technician.
There are different responsibilities when working
in a medical team environment. The focus may vary from our retail
operation or our Long Term Care division. The main objective is to assist in
drug preparation. Community college pharmacy technician graduates or equivalent
with local working experienced are considered first. General help.
Primary focus is to assist the pharmacy staff in
the daily maintenance of the pharmacy. The main role of a general helper
includes record filing, receiving and organizing inventory, and general
house keeping.
